About Ancient Shiloh
Ancient Shiloh is the site where the Tabernacle stood for 369 years.
During these years Shiloh was the capital of the Jewish people.
In Shiloh, Joshua divided the inheritance to the tribes of Israel.
In Shiloh Hannah prayed and we learn from her how to pray to this day.
This fascinating site offers a unique biblical experience, an opportunity to touch the past.
The site has plenty of antiquities and a visitor’s center that provide us with the experience of going back in time to the days of the Mishkan.
Hannah prayed and was responded at this place 3000 years ago, since then many more people have tried this place for their prayers and many of them have also were heard.
You are invited to experience the ancient Shiloh as part of a tour of the best of Binyamin together with Jewish Israel tours.
Shiloh Valley Tour
Binyamin Tours
Once upon a time, thousands of years ago, the Shiloh Valley was the place where the tribes of Israel gathered. The daughters of Israel came to dance in the vineyards on 15 Av. After the story of a concubine in Geva, the remaining sons of Binyamin kidnapped their wives during this festival.
It’s been a long time since. The Arab occupation left almost no trace of the vanquished Jewish past.
But for the past 40 years, the valley has seen an amazing flare. More than 10 new Jewish settlements were established there. Vineyards and olives cover almost all of the valley. Pools were built for the beautiful springs in the mountains.
Hiking trails, goat farms and boutique wineries opened in the valley.
And even the festival in the vineyards returned to the Shiloh Valley.
You are invited to visit the renewed Shiloh Valley with me and Jewish Israel tours as part of a tour of the best of Binyamin.
The Ancient Shiloh Valley trip is one of many sites that will take part in a full Tour of the Binyamin tour.
