Who does not want to visit Rachel’s tomb (kever Rachel)?

Or Mother Rachel as the locals say …

The prophet  Jeremiah tells of the weeping voice of Rachel our mother when her sons are expelled from the land and her expectation of when the sons will return home.

Thousands of Jews arrive at the grave of our mother Rachel to cry with her. some are crying for health and some cry for finding a match, some cry for a livelihood and some cry because of the prolonged exile. And all of them are getting hope. Because thanks for the crying in this place together if our mother Rachel, there is hope.

Rachel’s mother’s grave, which is located between Jerusalem and Bethlehem, today looks like a fortress. But this was not always the case for a site that had been in the middle of the road for centuries. Everything here has a story. There is a story for her tombstone and a meal, a story for a key and a story for the road. And there is no end to the stories of salvation.
